Nancy Elliott

If you visit Lakewood, chances are you might find Nancy Elliott walking around the community. She goes out every day for a walk. That’s, of course, when she’s not working on the book that she is writing: History of Weatherford Memorial Baptist Church. This is her second book. She wrote an earlier book, which was based on letters that her father sent to her mother while he was away in World War I.

An alum of Westhampton College, Nancy enjoys meeting once a month for lunch with her former classmates.

The former schoolteacher and guidance counselor teaches English as a Second Language every Monday at her church.
